PETG Plastic

PETG is a common material in cosmetic packaging.

PETG has the same transparency as glass and close to the density of glass, good gloss, chemical corrosion resistance, impact resistance, and easy processing. It can be injection moulding, injection-pull-blow moulding and extrusion-blow moulding. It can also produce unique shape, appearance and special effects, such as bright color, grinding, marble texture, metal luster, etc. Other polyesters, elastic plastics or ABS can also be used for overlapping injection moulding.

Products include perfume bottles and caps, cosmetic bottles and caps, lipstick tubes, cosmetic boxes, deodorant packaging, talcum powder bottles and eyeliner covers. PETG injection products include medical devices such as filters, otopharyngeal tubes, pipe connectors, pumps, clips and dialysis equipment. Household utensils such as cups, salad bowls, salt cans, pepper cans, etc., have excellent transparency, gloss, good toughness, processability and excellent coloring.

PETG has Excellent thermoforming properties

PETG sheet is easy to produce products with complex shape and large drawing ratio. Moreover, unlike PC sheets and impact-resistant modified sheets, the sheets need not be pre-dried before hot forming. Compared with PC board or acrylic, it has shorter forming period, lower temperature and higher yield.

The extruded sheet of PETG sheet is usually 15 to 20 times tougher than general acrylic and 5 to 10 times tougher than impact modified acrylic. PETG sheet has enough bearing capacity in the process of processing, transportation and use, which helps to prevent cracking.
